The Copywriter reports to the Content Manager and completes various writing projects that require strong attention to detail, decision making, and communication with internal and external customers and subject matter experts. The Copywriter will complete projects as assigned by the Content Manager or Editor. This position will identify any potential risks to the creation of new copy and how it may affect existing copy in other projects. The Copywriter demonstrates knowledge of multiple forms of writing, such as feature, blogging, digital, business, magazines, script, SEO, technical, web, etc.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Strong copywriting, proofreading, research, and editing skills.
- Must be able to captivate a variety of audiences, including consumers, internal employees, and external sales representatives.
- Should be able to innovate and initiate pitches of new content ideas.
- Writes for various Company publications, marketing materials, and projects.
- Adheres to and enforces department’s style guide and ensures all materials are consistent in grammar, punctuation, formatting, and spelling.
- Contributes to and/or oversees special projects as assigned.

- Must be able to write for a variety of audiences, including consumers and sales representatives.
- Must be flexible and able to switch focus to different projects when business demands change.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize assignments.

- Ability to autonomously investigate/research information needed for projects.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within organization, including senior management.

Required Experience
- A. or B.B.A. in English or Journalism from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have 2-3 years writing experience as part of employment history.
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Office.
- Must have strong project management skills, flexibility to shift focus to different project(s) depending on business demand, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Working knowledge of Content Management Systems is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Appspace, Canva is a plus.
