SUMMARY

Seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who can work in a team environment, as well as alone. This position will be responsible for equipment maintenance/repairs, and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Cooperstown facility. Our brewery and beautiful 140 acres of grounds are an extension of our brand, and we take pride in maintaining a beautiful and inviting environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform intermediate-level maintenance tasks on the production floor

Perform routine facility maintenance throughout all of Ommegang’s operations, including but not limited to lighting, plumbing, etc.

Assist with troubleshooting and upgrades of facility infrastructure

Maintain grounds appearance

Help prepare facility for events

Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory

Intermediate level machine troubleshooting and repair

Preforming PM’S on all machines and equipment

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Minimum of 2 years facilities and machine maintenance

Ability to read and interpret Mechanical and Electrical Drawings

Strong industrial electrical knowledge and PLC knowledge a plus

Strong Verbal/Written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with all peers

Participate in weekly rotating on-call schedule

Valid driver’s license

Ability to work from heights

Ability to drive heavy equipment (lawn care/snow removal)

Metal fabrication skills a plus (welding, machining)

Basic computer skills to be able to use/manage maintenance tracking system
