Job Title: Network Operations Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ (HYBRID)

Pay rate: $ 45-50 an hour

Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage

Contract Duration: 4 months (possibility of being permanent/extension)
Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Description of work:

• Tier 2/3 escalation engineer for Tier 1 help desk support staff
• Provide support for network and wireless-related issues
• Resolve assigned incidents
• Work with vendor Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support teams, if required
• Coordinate with Hardware Support (HWS) for any Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Document the resolution in the designated repository system
• Enable monitoring of newly added hardware

Skills and experience for the role
Must Have

• Experience with Aruba network routing and switching (6300, 8325)
• 3-5 years of experience with Aruba wireless client troubleshooting
• 3-5 years of experience with Cisco network routing and switching
• 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting GlobalProtect VPN client systems
• 3-5 years of experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting

Strong Preference

• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
• Experience working with a SIEM
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification

A Plus to Have

• Experience with Aruba ClearPass (including downloadable user roles)
• Experience with Airwave
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
• Expert-level understanding of VSF stacking
• Expert-level understanding of IPv4 addressing
