This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Retirement Plan Manager and benefits team. In addition, will assist in education of 401(k) plans through webcasts, in-person reviews, recordings, presentations and more. This Retirement Specialist will handle multiple projects and tasks, requiring the individual to be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Job Responsibilities: Schedule enrollment and education sessions for 401(k) plans; create presentations, educational announcements and special campaigns working with marketing department and 401k vendor. Conduct in-person group and one-on-one enrollment/educational sessions, webcasts and recordings for participants. Responsible for tracking specific outcomes based on meeting goals and helping determine future education topics for clients. Assist with phone calls and chats focusing on the education of 401(k) plans; help resolve participants 401(k) questions. Maintain knowledge of present legislation and proposed legislative changes with regard to ERISA law through self-study and company-sponsored training sessions. Assist the Retirement Plan Manager and benefits team with the administration of the Nextep retirement plan. Responsible for the day to day activities and transactions related to monitoring eligibility, enrollment, participation changes, mergers/transfers of prior retirement plan assets, monthly and quarterly reconciliation and reporting, etc. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required; certificate from college or technical school preferred. 3 to 4 years related experience and/or training preferred. Ability to travel 10-30% of the time. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides. Strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and superior organizational skills.
