Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing fire protection company to identify an Outside Sales Representative. This individual will be responsible for increasing revenue through the sale of code-required annual fire protection service contracts, working with both new and existing customers. The services sold are required by local and state government regulations, creating a strong, recurring-demand sales environment.
This individual must reside in the Greater Richmond, VA area.
** Responsibilities:**
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and prospective clients, moving opportunities through the full sales pipeline from qualification to close.
- Conduct outbound cold calling and email outreach to generate new business.
- Schedule and attend in-person sales appointments within the assigned territory.
- Follow up promptly on client inquiries and requests for information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Partner with the Inside Sales team to identify potential leads and re-engage existing customers.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory requirements to identify new sales opportunities.
- Generate and submit regular sales activity and performance reports to management.
- Communicate consistently with current and prospective customers, providing solutions tailored to their needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, customer accounts, and sales activity in the CRM system.
** Qualifications:**
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in fire protection, construction or facility services.
- Proven success in an outside sales role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Highly organized with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
