Job Description

Paradigm is looking for a Front End UI Developer to support our client, HP Inc. (remote) in San Diego, CA. This role will work in conjunction with design, engineering, and development teams to develop the user interface for mobile and web based applications for new and existing HP products. OUT OF AREA CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

TYPE: 12 month contract, with possible extension LOCATION: San Diego, CA (remote) PAY RATE: DOE BENEFITS: Paradigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.

AS A FRONT END UI APP DEVELOPER, YOU WILL:

• Work with architects and designers to develop feature requirements and elements for a successful user interface
• Translate requirements into functional interface elements
• Design and code web applications and cross browser development with CSS, JavaScript and HTML5
• Use React Native as core building blocks for mobile applications for iOs and Android
• Implement new features and UI and make sure our code base is stable and future proof
• Monitor application performance and adjust as needed
• Collaborate with other developers and programmers to improve usability

REQUIREMENTS

OUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WISH LIST INCLUDES:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• 4+ years experience working as a Front End Developer
• Demonstrable knowledge of HTML5, CSS/LESS, JavaScript
• High proficiency using React Native
• Experience in developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Experience with testing frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of R&D for manufacturing space
• Strong ability to collaborate and work across teams, both internally and externally
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Excellent communication skills
• Must live in the US, ideally within San Diego, CA. May consider CA, OR or WA residents.
