Paradigm in seeking an experienced Data Analyst (SQL) to support our client a global provider of legal services.

TYPE: 2-year contact LOCATION: Remote (must be in Oregon) PAY RATE: DOE

Our Client is is looking for an experienced data engineer with extensive knowledge in developing ETL/ELT pipelines to feed a data warehouse for strategic decision support and operational reporting. This individual will take the on-premise data warehouse and deploy it in the cloud leveraging Microsoft Azure and Snowflake. You are a perfect fit for the role if you have a track record of developing high quality data flows within an orchestrated and automated batch process that is easily supportable, flexible and extensible

AS A DATA ANALYST (SQL) YOU WILL

• Will take our on-premise data warehouse and deploy it in the cloud leveraging Microsoft Azure and Snowflake
• Develop high quality data flows within an orchestrated and automated batch process that is easily supportable, flexible and extensible
• Create data flows using Microsoft SSIS, cloud-native tools such as Fivetran, Matillion, dbt)
• Build reports and data visualizations using SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Looker
• Work within a cloud infrastructure (Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services)
• Use erwin Data Modeler and overcoming data governance challenges

REQUIREMENTS

OUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WISH LIST INCLUDES:

• Must have extensive experience in:

  • erwin Data Modeler

  • ETL/ELT data flows and tools (Microsoft SSIS, cloud-native tools such as Fivetran, Matillion, dbt)

  • Data visualization tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

  • Cloud infrastructure and services (Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services)

  • ETL/ELT paradigms

  • Knowledge of SSIS best practices specifically SSIS variables, parameters and error/exception handling

  • T-SQL including SQL performance tuning and optimization

  • SQL Server 2017+ stored procedure and function development

• Business intelligence and reporting
• Good documentation skills
