You will investigate potential pest invasions, identify when an issue does exist, and deploy appropriate pest control techniques to eliminate the problem. Responsibilities: • Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods • Disperse the fumigants in infested areas when needed • Schedule appointments with customers by working with our in-office employees • Comply with all safety guidelines by wearing protective equipment and following the instructions for each pest control product • Answer any questions regarding our pest control services Qualifications: • Graduated from high school or received G.E.D. • One year experience as a pest control technician • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Comfortable with an outdoor work environment in a variety of weather conditions • Passed the pest control license exam provided by the Department of Agriculture • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Willingness to obtain a Pest Control License • Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing stairs, accessing and exiting roof or attic areas utilizing a ladder, and going into crawl spaces Compensation: $35,000 - $55,000 yearly
