In this role, you'll report to our Chief People Officer, employing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new, creative ideas to efficiently and effectively fill open positions. JOB DESCRIPTION * Own the recruiting lifecycle, partnering with the Chief People Officer and hiring managers to align hiring plans with staffing needs and ensure a consistent process * Draft job descriptions and lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position * Build applicant sources and source both active and passive candidates, serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, industry associations, media and internet sites, and other networks- and decreasing our reliance on external recruiting agencies * Screen resumes to determine which candidates meet minimum job requirements * Conduct initial interviews (by phone, by video, in person) to narrow the number of potential candidates who will be interviewed by hiring managers * Evaluate candidates by analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements and make recommendations * Work with recruiting coordinators to coordinate interview schedules and follow up on interview status * Coordinate and/or conduct reference and checks * Assist in preparing and sending offer packages * Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved * Serve as brand ambassador- communicate Pond5 employment brand, value prop, culture, benefits, and perks during the recruiting process, including improving the company Careers page * Stay current on the companys organization structure, policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices * Monitor job offers and compensation practices and recommend new recruiting policies and practices as needed * Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training as needed * Drive efforts to foster diversity and inclusion * Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that processes are transparent and measurable- and complete timely reports on employment activity * Get involved in HR related efforts beyond recruiting... DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * 3+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a high growth organization * Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills * Expertise in behavioral interviewing * Knowledge of recruiting best practices * Strong professionalism and communication skills in all forms- phone, video, email, in person * Highly organized and results driven * The ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, along with good judgement * Knowledge of employment and labor law * Experience using Lever or similar ATS * Industry contacts as well as knowledge of social and professional networking sites * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- and at the same time strong relationship skills to partner with hiring managers, candidates, agencies, etc. * A bachelors degree and an advanced degree or professional HR certification is preferred BENEFITS * International team of 180 awesome people * Competitive compensation and benefits * Generous 401(k) program * Health and dental insurance and other perks * Equipment needed for work * A fun team and fast paced environment Pond5 is the worlds largest, most vibrant video-first content marketplace, providing filmmakers, creators, and producers of all kinds with the content, inspiration, and tools they need to improve their projects.
