  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY

    HOURS: Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm or 10am - 7pm

    The primary duties of this position are to inspect, test, clean, and label industrial surplus items at point of sale.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Verifying Part Numbers on all Units Processed

    · Inspection, Cleaning, and Testing of all Units

    · Proper use of Shop Assets and Test Fixtures

    · Power and Diagnostic Testing of all Units

    · Programming

    · Support Quality Methods, Processes, and Procedures

    · Support and Improve Quality of Final Product

    · Support Development of Test Capabilities

    · Performing Occasional Light Repair

    · Processing of Pre-evaluation Units to ‘RTS’ Ready to Sell Condition

    · Proper Handling and Labeling on all Units

    · Capture Estimated Parts and Labor Cost for Repairs

    · Effective Time Management and Prioritization of Work

    · Proper use of IT Systems

    · Provide your own Hand/Power tools

    May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.


    QA CONTROLS TECHNICIAN LEVEL METRICS

    Performance Metrics are driven by the following:

    · Level 1 = $33.6K Monthly, $200 hourly Minimum

    · Level 2 = $50.4K Monthly, $300 hourly Minimum

    Producing between 45 to 60 jobs per month.
    Speed Line Technicians are capped at Level 2.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Not applicable. This position has no direct reports

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Use of hand and power tools, troubleshooting, and soldering.

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    · High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    • One to three years Technical School Diploma or experience.
    • Technical or industrial product knowledge a plus.

    COMPENSATION

    The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $35,000 - $38,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is commission eligible , with a commission structure that provides opportunity to earn even more based on your performance

    **PHYSICAL DEMANDS **

    · Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

    · Frequent walking.

    · Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion.

    · Lifting requirements include continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds and frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
