service writer Tracking Code 1259-967 Job Description Job Title: Repair Sales & Service Coordinator Department: 31-Sales-Inside Reports To: Repair Sales & Service Team Leader FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full Time JOB SUMMARY Responsible for processing repair quotes, repair orders, and supporting the sales staff with regard to repair related jobs. As well as providing the customer with all possible options that we can offer to resolve their problem. Perform all related tasks that encompass customer service in the repair department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Quoting repair jobs and processing approvals Offer customers spare and replacement options from depot or surplus Source items we can not currently supply. Provide a high level of customer service & support Work jointly with inside & outside sales staff to close orders Process & manage customer quotes not assigned to a salesperson Keep the line of communication between you and our customers open, be proactive. Quote replacement options for items that are un-repairable and obtain approval to scrap or return Open quote follow ups to obtain approvals Repair order expediting (provide order status updates to customers when directly asked) Quote-to-order transfer Complete Spectrum task assignments w/ customer oriented follow-up to assure completion Resolving issues that may arise when processing a surplus or depot order Managing your in-house summary and assuring that everything is up to date. May be modified from time to time. EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue Monthly Reviews Employee will be given a written monthly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of sales activity Annual Reviews Employee will be given a formal regular annual review which assesses productivity and demonstrated business skills and accomplishments for the previous period. WORK SCHEDULE This is a full time position with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Adherence to attendance and coverage policies is expected to be followed diligently. Time off will be granted with proper formal notice in accordance with company policy. WORK ENVIRONMENT The environment is a professional open call center office environment. It may be necessary from time to time to go to our inventory warehouse or our repair center, or to other departments relative to the requirements of the position. Dress attire is casual but professional in an office setting. All employees are required to wear Radwear (shirt with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.
