POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Receptionist is responsible for providing office and administrative assistance to ensure that business services are provided in a friendly, effective, and efficient manner. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls and ensures that all phone calls and visitors are attended to and guided to the appropriate Haynes associate for service. A professional and courteous demeanor is required at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job description gives an overview of the essential functions, competencies, skills, and abilities for the Receptionist role. Other job duties may be assigned that are not included in the job description. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Maintains a high level of customer service and confidentiality at all times.
- Answers phones and transfer calls to the appropriate associates.
- ? Updates and maintains company phone list and monthly activity calendar.
- Accepts and signs for packages and distributes mail daily.
- Maintains a neat and professional appearance of the reception and lobby area at all times.
- Will place weekly office supply orders, manage Iron Mountain storage log, assist with onboarding of new associates to include updating orientation manuals.
- Maintains a pleasant demeanor and contributes toward a quality work environment.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen area to include stocking supplies, refilling coffee, loading/unloading the dishwasher, clearing refrigerator on occasion if requested.
- Assists HR/Accounting/Contract Admin/Executive Assistants and other business units with administrative duties as requested.
- Ensures that all customers’ needs are met and interactions are pleasant and professional.

Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for hours at a time; mobility to reach filing cabinets, filing areas; sufficient manual dexterity to use computer keyboard and complete filing tasks; visual ability to view computer screen and close work; the noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma
- Able to manage busy, multi-line switchboard
- Strong proficiency with MS Office 365
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be at work and on switchboard promptly at the beginning of scheduled shift
- Regular & punctual attendance
