Pay: $33.00 to $48.00 per hour ($70K-$100K)

Job description:

1. Lead core accounting operations, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accurate financial statements to ensure integrity of financial data.
2. Oversee and actively support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to generally accepted accounting standards and internal policies.
3. Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing documentation, maintaining compliance, and strengthening internal controls and accounting procedures.
4. Analyze financial results and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to support informed business decisions.
5. Drive process improvements and special projects while mentoring junior team members; demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, proficiency in ERP/accounting systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline (professional certification such as CPA is a plus)
• Minimum of (2) + years of experience with LeaseQuery software
• Minimum of (4)+ four years of increasing responsibility within accounting roles
• Solid knowledge of (GAAP) generally accepted accounting principles and preparation of financial statements
• Proficiency working with enterprise-level accounting software and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
• Background check required
• Drug screening required
