Position Description: We are currently looking for a FULL-TIME Call Center Operator who will be responsible for coordinating the electronic new patient intake for KureSmart Pain Management and take all calls coming into KureSmart Pain Management Call Center. The Call Center Operator will make reminder calls to patients if needed, act as primary conduit for the transmission of information between all offices, corporate and callers, and obtaining patient demographics, insurance information, and medical histories. Duties include a high degree of patient, faculty, physician, pharmacist interaction, utilization of patient information, coordination of insurance documentation, creation of patient medical records, reading medical records for verification, and maintenance of practice schedules and a triage of a high volume of incoming telephone calls. Essential Duties: Perform job in accordance with KureSmart Pain mission, vision and goal Exercise confidentiality in all areas, abiding by HIPAA rules and regulations. Provide professional and courteous customer/patient care, displaying knowledge and enthusiasm for KureSmart Pain Managements treatment approach; displayed through impeccable phone etiquette. Accurately collect all required new patient information, including complete and accurate insurance data and verifying eligibility in real-time. Accurately detail information pertaining to patients. Expedite service in situations requiring urgent attention as determined by management. Efficiently utilize available resources to accurately and efficiently process necessary transactions. Handle calls that can be handled and appropriately transfer calls that need to be transferred to the appropriate staff member(s). Consistently ensures accuracy by complying with KureSmart Pain principles, requirements and policies and by performing quality self-checks. Maintains high level of product and service knowledge. Possess the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and contributes to solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and the customer's experience. Achieve or exceed assigned work standards. Perform other call center related tasks as needed which would include but are not limited to conducting outbound call campaigns, communicating electronically with patients/customers via on line portal or chat, assist with administrative duties, etc. Qualifications and Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A college degree or associates degree is strongly preferred Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations. Ability to use a multi-line VoIP system and demonstrate computer skills, including keyboard proficiency, outlook proficiency and basic office software.
