Mechanical Assembler II Basic Purpose of Position: Utilizing client, supplier, manufacturer and Aubrey Group documentation, builds assemblies and subassemblies. Repairs or reworks assemblies or subassemblies as directed by Engineer or Manufacturing management. Performs wide range of skilled, repetitive and non-repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of manufacturing and development projects. Primary or Major Responsibilities: * Build mechanical assemblies per assembly drawings, assembly procedures, BOM's, Schematics and Wiring Diagrams. * Test mechanical assemblies per test procedures. * Kit parts per Pick Lists and Bills of Materials. * Rework mechanical assemblies. * Complete manufacturing documentation including travelers and data sheets as work is performed. * Serialize assemblies and subassemblies as defined on Work Orders. * Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly functions as required. * Assist Material Control with cycle counts and physical inventory counts. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Safety: Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, utilize proper personal. Minimum Requirements: * 3+ years minimum of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. * Understanding of AS9100 QMS or equivalent Quality System * Familiar with IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, and IPC-7721, Repair and Modification of Printed Boards and Electronic Assemblies. * Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and technical procedures to determine methods and sequence of assembly operations. * Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures and templates. * High School Diploma or equivalent * All employees are required to complete ESD, Hazard communication and safety training. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to read and understand written procedures and work instructions is required. * Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and Inventory Database. * Ability to work with minimal supervision.
