    (3) days required onsite weekly after training

    Pay: $40-$45 per hour

    Type: Contract to hire

    Schedule: Part-time, 30-35 hours weekly
    Flexible: M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM


    Job description:

    1. Partner with all levels of management on HR-related matters to ensure consistent, fair, and balanced administration of policies and practices,
    2. Ensure HR processes and reporting align with AMIkids’ strategic goals and comply with local, state, and federal laws,
    3. Provide proactive HR guidance, interpretation, and support to Team Members and leaders,
    4. Lead strategic HR initiatives that drive Team Member engagement, retention, and performance improvement,
    5. Align business objectives with Team Members and management to support organizational goals,
    6. Identify trends and develop strategies to resolve and convert into result-driven action,
    7. Manage employee relations issues including investigations, grievances, crisis management, and corrective actions,
    8. Provide change-management support, 
    9. Review and provide feedback/guidance on assigned performance evaluations, assist with writing and updating job descriptions,
    10. Stay current with HR regulations, employment law, best practices, and trends,
    11. Design and implement process improvements, participate in developing departmental goals, processes, and system to enhance HR service delivery and efficiency,
    12. Represent HR in cross-functional leadership meetings and initiatives,
    13. Conduct compliance training and partner with leadership to identify and reinforce required Team Member training,
    14. Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations and support audits, 
    15. Conduct exit interviews, develop and maintain a tracking spreadsheet to provide reports and insight to leadership

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
    • Must have experience with employee investigations/ relations; handling investigations fully on your own.
    • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
    • Must be open to part-time or full-time.
    • PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
    • Multi-state HR experience.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS applications.
    • Experience in managing complex employee relations matters.
    • Self-starter with strong organizational and presentation skills.
    • Employer will perform testing
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Level II background check required
    • Drug screening required
