    Job Description

    TITLE: DIGITAL MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER​ LOCATION: IRVINE, CA 92618​

    FULL-TIME/DIRECT HIRE ROLE

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the management and execution of digital marketing efforts across all digital channels–programmatic advertising, web, email, paid search, organic social, paid social, affiliate, and organic search, streaming media and more.
    • Lead, manage, and own the timely execution of all digital marketing and e-commerce deliverables in tight collaboration with internal and external teams.
    • Manage promotional and content calendars, product launches, and all DTC campaigns.
    • Manage content library and distribute digital assets.
    • Ensure tight collaboration with other departments, including cross-functional communications, planning, data, and reporting.
    • Develop concise and thoughtful creative briefs to provide clear direction and strategy intent to creative and strategic partners.
    • Diagnose and resolve any/all workflow inefficiencies and collaborative challenges.
    • Serve as a key point of content quality control: attention to detail with a keen eye for high-quality copy, design, and other digital collateral.
    • Stay current on digital marketing best practices and industry standards; continuously recommend new approaches, innovative ideas, and / or technologies to deliver on KPIs.
    • Manage team of freelancers – photographers, copywriters, designers, and other creatives.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance of all digital deliverables.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATION, & ORGANIZATION:

    • Exhibit extreme ownership of every project and be willing to do whatever it takes to get it over the line to completion, with an eye on quality and timeliness.
    • Proven ability to be data driven and ROI-focused
    • Autonomously take on all aspects of projects - a self-starter knowing how to prioritize and tackle a demanding workload.
    • Meticulously organized and experience with project management tools like Wrike.
    • Be a master communicator on all fronts
    • Obsessive attention to detail anticipating roadblocks and always have a plan to develop a contingency plan
    • A top-level understanding of time management
    • Experience working with stakeholders and outside resources
    • Building a comprehensive and in-synced brief is second nature to you and you can communicate big complex ideas rapidly and effectively
    • Demonstrated experience in a startup environment and proven ability to adapt to challenging problems by doing more with less
    • Desire to constantly question and optimize workflows

    DIGITAL MARKETING & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Fully understand 360 digital marketing and able to keep track of all moving parts that come with successful campaign launches including meeting deadlines.
    • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably with CPG brands, with some collaboration with/or agency experience preferred.
    • Developed an actionable understanding of brand and be a point for quality of control for all deliverables
    • A strong background in content with the ability to distinguish good from great material.
    • Analytical background and understanding of tools like google analytics and SEM Rush.
    • Mastery of Adobe CS, Microsoft Office, web design workflow, and content management systems.
    • Proficiency with data analysis tools like GA and performance reporting to diagnose problems
    • Scientific literacy and ability to navigate the complex world of compliance in the CBD space.
