Marketing Intern - January 2019 Job Location US-IL-Oak Brook Status Non-Exempt Type Temporary Full-Time Overview SWC Technology Partners is seeking a Marketing Intern that is a motivated, outgoing university student interested in developing their marketing career to start January 2019. While working with SWC marketing. They will have exposure to the marketing team and processes that add value to the operations of our core business. We are passionate about our customers, solutions and technology and are seeking an experienced enthusiastic Intern that shares that same passion. This internship will be based in our Oak Brook, IL office. Responsibilities Build our lead database into emerging markets by sourcing and inputting new sales leads into our lead database Perform and compile market research into emerging geographies Maintain customer profiles in order to assist with campaign optimization Assist in generating marketing campaigns for SWC Technology Develop marketing collateral to include emails, direct mail, blog, social media, etc. Provide ongoing support to the sales and marketing teams as needed Qualifications Currently enrolled and attending a college or university with a major in Marketing Must be a local candidate, a minimum of 20 hours a week on-site in the Oak Brook, IL location for an 8-12 week internship This candidate must be a student in good standing with a GPA of at least 3.0 Must have a true interest in developing a career within marketing Have effective technology skills with the ability to navigate software easily Possess strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail with good organization skills are essential Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products, specifically Excel & Word Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer Perks of working at SWC: Bragging rights Check out our Awards!
