The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and defining business processes, requirements, and problems and synthesizing findings into comprehensive solutions.
- Understand business context and problems and communicate them clearly in written and oral format
- Conducts interviews with management and clients representatives to gather requirements
- Work with the client to understand the design and functionality requirements
- Develop and implement a deep understanding of Atlassian products and services (Jira, Confluence) to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
- Translate high level business requirements into functional and system requirements
- Document business processes
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various team members to understand project requirements
- Define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ year of relevant experience
- Experience with Requirements Tools
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Experience in enterprise level system migrations
- Advanced degree from an accredited university
