The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and defining business processes, requirements, and problems and synthesizing findings into comprehensive solutions.

• Understand business context and problems and communicate them clearly in written and oral format
• Conducts interviews with management and clients representatives to gather requirements
• Work with the client to understand the design and functionality requirements
• Develop and implement a deep understanding of Atlassian products and services (Jira, Confluence) to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
• Translate high level business requirements into functional and system requirements
• Document business processes
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various team members to understand project requirements
• Define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced

 Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ year of relevant experience
• Experience with Requirements Tools
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Agile environment
• Experience in enterprise level system migrations
• Advanced degree from an accredited university
