To learn more about working atnbsp;U.S. Venture, watch this video: Life at U.S. Venture POSITION SUMMARY Assist Wellness Specialist in the development, and coordination of a variety of wellness programs that encourage a culture focused on improving the health of our team members, and their families. This position will work directly with our Wellness Specialist in our Corporate Office in Appleton. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinate local wellness events or programs such as blood drives, massages, organized runs/walks, the CSA lottery, and Better Way Market. * Help coordinate the personal health assessments (PHAs) with ThedaCare and location leaders. * Organize communication messages through various resources, such as MyUSVenture postings, digital monitor displays, group emails, or department or site meetings. * Aid the Wellness Specialist in writing the application for the Well Workplace Award. * Coordinate the company-wide National Bike Challenge. * Assist the Wellness Specialist in coordinating the annual wellness fair. * Work with wellness partners, Grokker and Virgin Pulse, to develop quarterly challenges. * Improve processes of accessing, submitting and tracking the $250 Reimbursement Program by working with IT to digitize the program. * Assist the Wellness Specialist in the development of a company-wide campaign to acknowledge internal wellness success stories. QUALIFICATIONS * Able to work a total of 400 hours over the course of the summer between May and September. There is some flexibility in hours/week worked. * A completing Sophomore currently enrolled in a health promotion or athletic training program, or related field. * Requires experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additional experience in SharePoint and InDesign is preferred. * Has some working knowledge of program development, motivational techniques, group class instruction, risk management programming and/ or fitness programming. * Good decision maker who is organized, detail-orientated, and can prioritize and plan ahead. * Excellent communication skills with solid writing abilities and demonstrated people skills. * Strong work ethic with commitment to high energy performance, quality, and service excellence.
