User Experience Researcher works to reveal what our users need from our products by conducting primary research, exploring their behaviors and motivations, and working with teams of Designers, Product Owners, and others to develop new features and enhancements to user experience. The UXR inspires changes at all stages of product development by delivering compelling oral, written, and visual presentations about our findings; and helps the UX team understand what would make users' experiences feel more intuitive, accessible, and productive.

• Develops surveys, facilitates focus groups, and interviews clients to obtain independent research on multiple aspects of how users experience products, user preference, and feedback for inclusion in user interface design and usability testing
• Collects and analyzes user behavior through server logs, experiments, benchmark studies, lab studies, and surveys. Participates in the feedback and recommendations to business stakeholders within the context of improving the user experience and driving the design
• Understands and incorporates complex technical and business requirements into research
• Interfaces with external usability vendors or additional 3rd parties by providing access to wireframes, comps, system access, and prototypes in order to meet the usability goals of the project
• Advocates research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations
• Works with designers and product owners to choose appropriate usability method(s) and to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Establishes performance criteria and identifies key activities and use-cases to monitor and test in order to drive improvements in user interface performance
• Stays current with new research or testing methods; willing to innovate and try new methods

• Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science - Required
• Master's Degree in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science - Preferred
• 2 years of experience in all aspects of Usability including usability testing, surveys, interviews, focus groups, heuristic evaluations, personas, use-cases, wire framing, site mapping, process flows, etc.
