    Position Summary

    The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as both a strategic advisor and hands-on partner to business leaders across operations, distribution, and related functions. This role is deeply embedded in the business—requiring regular presence on the floor, strong partnership with frontline managers, and the ability to drive meaningful impact in employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

    This is not a purely desk-based HR role—the ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is energized by being close to the workforce and operational execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as a strategic HR partner to leaders across operations and distribution, delivering proactive and responsive support
    • Build strong, trust-based relationships with managers and employees at all levels through active floor presence
    • Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and recommendations for action
    • Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, employee development, and corrective actions
    • Analyze workforce trends and partner with leadership to develop solutions that enhance retention, engagement, and performance
    • Support organizational change initiatives including restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and internal policies
    • Identify training needs and support development of leadership and manager capability programs
    • Drive accountability among managers for consistent HR practices, documentation, and people management responsibilities
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and workflows
    • Partner with legal on sensitive or high-risk employee matters as needed

    Qualifications

    • Proven ability to build trust and influence across all levels of an organization
    • Experience supporting high-volume, operations-driven environments (manufacturing, distribution, industrial, etc.)
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to operational goals
    • Demonstrated success managing change, workforce planning, or organizational initiatives
    • Ability to hold leaders accountable while maintaining strong working relationships
    • Collaborative mindset with strong influencing skills

    Required Skills & Knowledge

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to navigate difficult conversations with professionalism
    • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution capabilities
    • Deep expertise in employee relations and handling sensitive workplace issues
    • Knowledge of employment laws and ability to apply them effectively (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA)
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to guide decisions
    • Proficiency in HR systems (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
    • 6–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years as an HR Business Partner
    • Experience in multi-site or complex organizational environments strongly preferred
    • Working knowledge across multiple HR disciplines (employee relations, compensation, performance management, organizational development)
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    This role operates across both office and active warehouse/production environments. Regular floor presence is required.

    • Must be comfortable working around machinery, robotics, and material handling equipment
    • Exposure to noise, alarms, and active operations is expected
    • Requires walking production areas and maintaining situational awareness
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and remain alert in a dynamic environment

    Work Schedule

    This is a full-time, salaried position , typically working 40+ hours per week in our Willingboro, NJ office. Flexibility is required to support business needs, including occasional extended hours.

    The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $120,000 / year plus 5% bonus. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance
