  • Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Preparation & Operation of EtOH, LPG/Butane, and/or CO2 extraction systems and the creation of marijuana extract from raw cannabis.

    · Operation of solvent recovery and refinement (Post-Extraction) systems

    · Assisting in the creation of many types of cannabinoid-based products. Develop a comprehensive processing knowledge of cannabinoids, terpenes, and second tier constituents and knowledge delivery methods.

    · Use the inventory control system to record the conversion of raw medical marijuana into marijuana extract and marijuana extract into medical marijuana products.

    · QA/QC: helping to ensure that products are uniform, that each unit contains the variety, potency, and amount indicated by the products packaging and labeling

    · Managing level of supplies and notifying of ordering needs;

    · Fill out all daily logs/documentation of required data to maintain records for state reporting;

    · Report all potential or existing facility maintenance issues or preventative measures as required to maintain the facility in optimal condition and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations;

    · Collaborate with any third parties engaged by client, i.e. specialists and Corporate Innovation Scientists; facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Production Technician Reports To: Extraction/Post-Extraction Supervisor

    · Maintain clean and organized work environment at all times; perform tasks pertaining to proper sanitation, maintenance schedules, and calibration logs

    · Follow and enforce safety regulations and policies;

    · Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure;

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

    · Be able to pass a criminal background check;

    · Relevant college degree in chemistry or biology, or other relevant science education, background, or experience.

    · Demonstrated experience and knowledge of good manufacturing practices, laboratory practices, quality control, and quality assurance—preferable.

    · Prior comparable experience working at a commercial laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, or consumer products manufacturing facility—preferable.
