    JOB SUMMARY:

    Our Client works with the whole cannabis plant to capture its rich therapeutic benefits and the best tasting oil - natural and pure, never cut or diluted. Made with sun-grown, pesticide-free cannabis sourced from small-farm cultivators across Northern California, our product is created in our California licensed, Oakland based, manufacturing facility. Through our unique we capture a complex array of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids safely and cleanly for the consumer and the environment. As a well established and growing company, we are looking for a self-starter who has experience opening and servicing retail accounts.

    The Sales Representative ("Sales Rep") will drive direct sales, conduct demos, and staff events in the Bay Area. An understanding of the cannabis industry and the competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to develop relationships and provide excellent support to accounts, is essential for success in this role. Sales Reps who have prior contacts in the industry will have the most success in this position. The sales process includes making initial contact, signing new accounts, building the relationship, and generating revenue through add-on sales.

    The Sales Rep will spend the majority of time making outside sales calls with some administrative tracking and reporting, as required.

     

    DELIVERABLES:

    Open New Accounts:

    • Generate qualified leads by means of web research, attending expos, events, networking, etc.

    • Assess customer needs, answer questions and assist with the ordering process.

    • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.

    • Grow current accounts by additional product offering as they become available.

    • Track to in the company's database or on excel and update as needed.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE:

    • Develop relationships with retail store owners, managers staff.

    • Manage store events and in-store demonstrations with support from client's Brand Ambassador Manager (or other as designated by the Department Head).

    • Provide marketing collateral to support customer sales.

    • Support stores post-sale.

    • Assess customer needs, answer questions and assist with the ordering process.

    • Work collaboratively with internal teams in order to deliver product to new and existing clients in agreed upon timeline.

    ACCOUNTABILITY:

    • Reports directly to the SoCal General Manager.

    • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to communicate all sales related activities including travel schedule, prospect lists, and event participation and dispensary demonstration calendars.

    • Develop reports pertaining to sales activities for management and update them weekly.

    Compensation and Expectations of hours:

    is expected to work full time, 40 hours a week. This is a commission only position based on meeting stated sales goals. will be therefore reimbursed for pre-approved expenses, and fuel expense based on policy (detailed in the Independent Contractor Agreement)

    OTHER:

    • must dress and present yourself with the highest level of professionalism so as to leave a positive impression at all meetings and with all store employees.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Be an enthusiastic advocate for the cannabis industry and specifically for Brite Labs products.

    • Possess proven customer service and people skills.

    • Have a minimum of 2-4 years directly related experience, preferably with a brand name product, or in the cannabis industry.

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

    •Minimum 21 years old.

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

    • Provide own reliable transportation for sales calls and maintain a clean driving record.

    • Able to follow-through on tasks, and be self-motivated and self-directed.

    • Able to use Word and Excel to provide updates and detailed information in reports and be proficient in email communication and web research.

    • Able to learn new technology tools and applications as needed to support your work (i.e. database management, social media, communication applications)

    • Pass a DMV background check.
