Our Client is a premier cannabis provider located in the City of Fall River, MA. Amazing customer experience is our ultimate goal. We offer premium and economical cannabis products for our patients and customers and we are constantly expanding our selection. We are in search of a Head Chef of Infused Products to produce high-quality Cannabis Edibles. The goal is to optimize kitchen and cooking procedures to successfully create consistent, safe, delicious, quality Edibles. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety, detail and time management are critical to the success of our Kitchen and to the continued success of our Client.

To keep innovative and standard cannabis infused products on the shelves and to make our customers the happiest in the state.
JOB SUMMARY
The Head Chef of Infused Products will be responsible for navigating day to day Kitchen operations producing and innovating products infused with Cannabis Oils and Isolates. This position will work closely with the Founders to help create and innovate new products.This role will work to ensure workflow meets the necessary specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To make the most delicious CANNABIS edibles on earth.
- Develop complete confectionery formulations that meet the technical and sensory requirements of recreational edibles.
- Assist in the creation of a wide variety of new confectionery concepts by working with operational and sales & marketing departments.
- Oversee product development as well as all kitchen and production staff.
- Help develop and execute the process of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Supervise daily operation of all food preparation and production procedures
- Ensure audits of all materials and tools are conducted for all Kitchen needs
- Oversee preparation of samples to be sent to a lab.
- Actively participate in the prevention and correction of quality-related errors.
- Comply with all federal and state regulations pertaining to food handling/production
- Perform some administrative tasks, such as documenting all machine maintenance, logging test results, printing labels, auditing products, and supplies.
- Demonstrate an adequate understanding of production machinery; equipment; processing; blending; extraction; shelf-stable products, quality, and/or other requisite technical knowledge.
- Oversee the packaging of finished products.
- Maintain clean and sterile work environment.
COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience in production supervision within the food, packaging, contract packaging or manufacturing environment.
- Experience formulating confectionery cannabis products for commercial production a very strong plus.
- Experience working with confectionery flavors and ingredients.
- Strong people and supervisory skills including mentoring, coaching, performance, motivating and directing staff.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and maintain positive relationships with all levels of management
- Passionate about Cannabis.
- Must have experience with measuring and weighing
- Must be ServSafe Food Handler certified.
