    Location: Ukiah, California

    Job Summary

    Our Client is currently developing the first Organic Cannabis Distribution company in California and they are looking for a General Manager to help get the facility up and running as well as manage it once operational. Initially, this position will function as a project manager and work closely with the board of directors in order to determine the business plan and approximated initial budget. This role will also be responsible for producing the CAPEX budget for the initial setup of the facility as well as define which equipment to buy, which vehicles are needed and how to purchase them.The GM will also be responsible for hiring, developing the roles and responsibilities of each position, and creating the working schedules, etc.The GM will also develop SOPs for the business and help to create efficiencies.Furthermore, this position will also be responsible for developing and controlling the procedures to comply with ALL legal and compliance issues, define which Track and Trace method and software to use, and implement the T&T workstation, etc.

    Main Functions:

    • Project Management
    • Budget Management
    • Determine parameters for sourcing material.
    • Analyze different revenue streams and determining which is the most profitable
    • Control, measure & improve company by implementing KPI´s and productivity controls
    • Develop, implement and review all standard operational policies and procedures.
    • Constantly improve processes and procedures to maximize efficiency.
    • Develop, implement and control Production and Productivity KPIs
    • Develop sourcing and production strategies based on forecast
    • Develop, implement and control the budget for business operations and have oversight for the profitability of the company
    • Run the day-to-day operations of the distribution business.
    • Forecast requirements, prepare annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
    • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
    • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures
    • Manage relationship with key stakeholders (Clients, Suppliers, Partners, etc)
    • Analyze data to assess operations and/or project effectiveness and efficiency
    • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, system flows, etc.
    • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
    • Overview ALL track and trace inputs and outputs and ensure compliance with the system
    • Constantly improve the company´s efficiency in product pick-up, packaging and delivery

    Qualifications for the Job:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields
    • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain + Logistics outside the Cannabis Industry
    • 2+ years of experience with a Cannabis Distribution company
    • Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
    • Experience with implementing and measuring efficiency and productivity with systems
    • Solid understanding of financial management

    Required Skills for the Job:

    • Experience with Metrc and/or other Track and Trace systems for distribution licenses
    • Experience with Cannabis Distribution Licenses compliance and regulations
    • Experience Building teams
    • Must have experience with Budget Responsibilities and P&L experience
    • Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative.
    • Organized, Detailed Oriented and Meticulous in approach to work
