    Position Overview: Indoor Grow Manager – Selma, OR 

     The Indoor Grow Manager will be responsible for managing our 12,500sf indoor grow. This includes a veg room, mom room, seed processing room, and two flowering rooms for pollen collection. This facility supports our multiple greenhouses and outdoor production acres.

    This position will be a key part of the cultivation team and must be capable of performing all tasks in the growing process including the selection and development of genetic strains and seeds, cloning, potting and transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar sprays, flowering, pollen collection, seed production, and more.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and maintain plant health
    • Perform and manage all aspects of cultivation - veg through flower
    • Follow nutrient and foliar feeding schedules
    • Maintain exceptional attention to detail to achieve consistently high quality and yield
    • Manage a large-scale production facility, including: ensuring cleanliness of facility, budget, cost, performing general administrative duties, and purchasing materials as needed
    • Manage data collection for accuracy and ensure all tracking is compliant with government regulations
    • Assist in development and/or maintain growing protocols and nutrient regiment
    • Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
    • Execute preventative maintenance and ensure an integrated Pest Management program is in place
    • Handlealldocumentsandassociatedresponsibilitiesastheypertaintothereceivingofraw materials, propagation, sowing, growing, drying, harvesting, packaging, storage, picking, destroying, shipping, and distribution of product
    • Assist in the hiring and training of production staff as needed
    • Assist government regulators and auditors with inspections and audits of facility, operations, inventory, and regulatory compliance

    Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Production Horticulture Diploma or a degree in Biology, Agriculture, Horticulture, or equivalent experience in a commercial setting would be preferred
    • Strong understanding of genetics and plant care including a comprehensive knowledge of strains
    • Knowledge and experience with large scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, etc. and harvesting/trimming, drying, curing, manicuring
    • Familiarity with the latest production methodologies, and industry software for production management, recording, and monitoring
    • Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing and harvesting cannabis products for consumption (including storage/handling techniques)
    • The ideal candidate should also have a strong expertise in mold and pest prevention without the use of synthetic/commercial pesticides
    • Experience with operating industrialized indoor grow systems and mastery of soil growing methods (including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation)
    • The ideal candidate should also have educational and/or equivalent experience in a professional or commercial environment
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time, set priorities and handle many obligations at the same time
    • Strong verbal communication, leadership and managerial skills (Critical)
    • Trustworthy, flexible, and hardworking
    • Knowledge of automated environmental controls and fertigation
