    Requisition Number 18-2213 Title Systems Administrator City Coppell State TX Description General Description/Position Purpose: We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure operations team. The incumbent will report into the Manager of IT Infrastructure. The role will be based out of our Dallas, Texas, USA office; however, the ideal candidate must be willing and able to travel to other offices across the US and Canada to perform required IT support duties. Job Requirements: College Diploma or University Degree in Information Technology, Networking or other relevant area of study 2 to 3 years of IT support experience Proficient in Active Directory and Office 365 administration A+, Security+, Network+ or MCSE certifications would be an asset Knowledge of general PC and laptop maintenance and repair Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and other basic networking concepts Understanding of Firewall and VPN Technologies Excellent communication and customer service a must (expect frequent interaction with executive and C-level staff) Troubleshooting and problem determination Ability to work independently and in teams, prioritizing multiple projects, issues and tasks with minimal direction. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by leveraging on-line technical resources, establishing personal and professional relationships, attending formal training classes, and pursuing certifications and self-training where appropriate. Willing to learn, grow and progress in the information technology career Responsibilities: Provide desk-side support to company staff with regards to end-user resources (i.e. laptops, desktops, printers, phones, peripherals etc.) Provide Windows domain level administration support (password resets, user account modifications, etc.) Provide basic network troubleshooting support duties Ability to perform basic repair and hardware upgrades and coordinate with additional vendor support when needed Assist senior systems administrators with the maintenance and upgrade planning of the network and system infrastructure Join the on-call rotation with the rest of the team Travel to other office locations in US and Canada to perform the above support duties (up to 25% travel may be required) Apply On-line Send This Job to a Friend
