Security Officer The Wigwam 2 reviews - Litchfield Park, AZ Security Officer The Position: Responsible for the safeguarding of hotel property, assets, guests, visitors and employees. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and security to all guests in a professional manner. * Respond to associate or guest incidents/accidents in a timely manner and complete thorough documentation of the event. * Respond to guest needs including lost and found requests, lock out situations, welfare checks, providing directions to guests around the resort, and any other assigned duties. * Fulfill duties such as making keys, completing the dispatch log, monitoring cameras, logging lost and found, performing patrol duties, lock interrogation and any other assigned duties. * Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office * Professional phone skills * Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (s) used in the workplace. * Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. * Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. * Must posses basic computational skills * Must posses basic computer skills * Knowledge of hotel policy and fire-safety procedures. * Ability to operate hand held two-way radio and knowledge of ten codes. Education: High School or equivalent education required. CPR certification recommended.
