    JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Actuarial leaders in the Management Insights and Department Enablement team to achieve a successful transition to the cloud
    • Work to improve processes to make the entire department operate more efficiently
    • Intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the entire department and gain an overall understanding of what takes place within each group
    • Ability and willingness to perform clerical functions as needed
    • Willingness to learn different areas within the organization
    • Work on different projects within the department as well as team projects
    • Back up other team members during vacations and/or leaves of absence

     

    Required Skills

    Must have obtained at least junior status in a Bachelor degree program (Finance, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, or other related fields)

    • We seek candidates who have excellent analytical skills, a focus on results, the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, and creative problem solving abilities.
    • Qualified candidates must also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions.
    • Must have strong MS Excel skills and be proficient in all other MS Office applications
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA (Official Transcript May be Requested)
    • Have the ability to work 40 hours per week May 24 - July 26, 2021.
    • U.S. citizen or legal resident.

    Required Experience

    • Demonstrated mathematical ability required
    • Experience with Informatica or Redshift/Aurora is a plus
    • Basic computer skills in Excel
    • Basic computer skills in SQL preferred but not required
  • Qualifications
