  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY

    GLG seeks an independent and motivated college or graduate student interested in the intersection of the business and social sectors. GLG’s social impact mission is to transform the way the top social sector leaders share expertise and learn.

    Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    Manage GLG Social Impact Fellowship application intake (estimated 750 applications)

    • Organize and store applications properly using GLG’s technology system;
    • Screen eligibility of candidates in accordance with defined criteria;
    • Research organization and viability / fit for Fellowship;
    • Create finalist review deck in PPT;
    • Set up accept / decline letters and prepare candidate notification process.

    GLGer Engagement

    • Manage candidate interviews with GLG people (assign, monitor, schedule, collect feedback);
    • Survey GLG Research professionals servicing Social Impact clients for feedback on experience;
    • Other tasks as needed.

     GLG Social Impact List Management

    • Organize and update distribution lists.

     Fellow Convening planning

    • Content / workshop ideation;
    • Initial agenda planning and logistics management.

  • Qualifications

    An ideal candidate will have the following:

    • Strong commitment to mission of GLG Social Impact and to corporate shared value strategy;
    • Excellent communication skills;
    • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail and comfort in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
    • Team player attitude with ability to create excellent working relationships;
    • Fluency in Microsoft office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software, and a track record of learning how to use new software tools;
    • Intellectual curiosity;
    • Experience in the social sector is preferred but not required.
