    The Product Marketing function is responsible for developing positioning and key messaging for Experian products and services that are crisp, differentiated, and compelling. Product Marketing serves as a strategic partner to advocate for and advance Experian products in the marketplace, educating customers and integrating strategic messaging into compelling content and programs that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and adoption.

    Job Description

    Experian’s Summer Internship Program is a unique opportunity for students across the country to gain hands-on work experience in our innovative global company. Our interns work alongside Experian employees to tackle meaningful projects and gain valuable skills in their chosen field. During our summer internship program, interns will have access to the latest technologies and challenging work. As a summer intern, you’ll learn about our exciting financial inclusion products and programs, experience philanthropic events that make us a force for good, and network across our global business units.     Responsibilities of the Marketing Intern include:

    • Develop an understanding of the market, define buyer personas, and analyze the competitive environment
    • Help articulate differentiated product messaging that resonates with customers
    • Assist with the creation and maintenance of a robust library of both internal and external product and partner content (e.g., pitch decks, case studies, videos, product sheets, whitepapers)
    • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to design, activate and measure performance of product marketing and partner marketing campaigns
    • Assist in win/loss analysis and distill client feedback, uncovering learnings to evolve product positioning and messaging, and provide actionable recommendations informing sales and product strategy
    • Work effectively across Experian groups such as product management, marketing, and sales to achieve business objectives


    • Familiarity with data-driven marketing, advertising and/or technology preferred
    • Experience in product marketing, partner marketing, solutions marketing, strategy, or sales enablement preferred
    • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Ability and interest to understand technology
    • Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Marketing or related degree
    • Be returning to school in the Fall of 2024 to continue or complete degree program

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
