Job Purpose
- To execute marketing research studies by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations.
- Generates initial draft of forecast results, analyses, and reports, summarizing outcomes, conclusions and recommendations in a concise, client-friendly manner.
- Supports commercial teams in meeting revenue goals by developing strong forecast analysts, ensuring a high degree of forecast accuracy and supporting high profile and complex forecasting discussions with the client
Responsibilities
- Accountable for high quality first draft of forecasts
- Drive forecast development and activation for marketing research studies by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data
- Reviews data for errors and inconsistencies
- Understands and learns to consult on activation and marketing plans
- Prepares inputs and runs forecasting models
- Develops preliminary forecast summaries
- Understands and learns to analyze in-market data and other available Nielsen data to inform forecasts
- Executes validations, launch management and/or tracking
- Prepares initial client correspondence and forecast deliverables
- Participates in client meetings and presentations as needed
- Develop basic understanding of demand metrics (Factors for Success and volumetric key measures) and how they influence sales
