Your Role and Responsibilities

Start and end dates for this Internship are during Summer 2022 (3 months) at IBM Research. At IBM Research, we invent things that matter to the world. Today, we are pioneering the most promising and disruptive technologies that will transform industries and society, including the future of AI, Blockchain and Quantum Computing. The Enterprise AI, Systems, Solutions and Services research is looking for candidates for summer internship positions. Our mission is to bring innovations to revolutionize how enterprise services, systems and processed are designed, developed, and operated in the new business and computing paradigms. We are actively conducting research and development of new analytical methods and technologies in the areas of artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, business transformation, and next-generation services.

We are looking for candidates with proven programming skills with backgrounds in Computer Science, AI, Optimization and an ability to analyze and debug problems.

Candidates should have basic knowledge in one or more of the following skills:

• Programming skills (C/C++, Java, Python, Javascript, Node.js, etc.)
• Software engineering practices including agile techniques
• Building cloud applications using APIs and services

Candidates must be willing to work in any of the following locations: Almaden, CA or Yorktown Heights, NY. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related area is required.
