What you’ll be doing...
The 5G Wireless Delivery Sr Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects focused on the delivery of Verizon Private networks and MEC solutions including design, implementation, and handoff to support. This team member’s role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including project governance, financial tracking and analysis, partner contracting and management, application of standard project management processes and artifacts, risk management, process and methodology development and improvement.
The Project Manager will lead cross functional teams across multiple lines of business (including, but not limited to: Verizon Enterprise, Verizon Wireless (Product, IBV Radio Frequency, Regulatory and Construction and GNT) to ensure a high quality delivery of PWN and MEC deployments. This individual must work collaboratively in a dynamic, face-paced environment and be able to proactively seek creative solutions to complex problems.
In this role you will:
Provide customer with a single point of contact for all project communications
Plan projects, including developing project objectives, developing work breakdown structures, developing schedules, identifying quality acceptance procedures and documenting a project plan
Implement projects, including tracking and evaluating schedules, managing change control, coordinating the activities of all organizations involved in the implementation, issuing project reports and implementing project controls
Oversee and managing the overall installation process, including ordering (equipment and backhaul), RF engineering, infrastructure readiness and construction, installation, turn up, delivery to ongoing support and equipment and services invoicing.
Complete and close-out projects, including obtaining customer agreement of close-out
Serve as governance, advisor, and project manager for the team strategy. Ensures streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the organization. Leads a wide variety of initiatives including strategic planning, executive advisory, tool development, and creating more efficient ways of working.
Work with business unit data users to develop go forward roadmaps for new strategic data procurement and enhancement initiatives.
Develop and maintain a perspective on how data could be leveraged across the Verizon ecosystem, and serve as a promoter as appropriate.
Serve as a point of coordination with data consumers in businesses and functions on what existing internal and third-party data might be useful for business needs.
Manage incoming demand for perspective data types (e.g., understand business use cases/initiatives, translate business needs into data requirements) and provide support (e.g., identify approved external data sources, prospective supplemental data generated by the enterprise).
Establish and execute on the enterprise-wide communication and change management plan to promote effective data management/stewardship and shift mindsets.
Manage working relationships with product and project managers across projects within Verizon with strong lines of communication.

This is a work-from-home role performed almost exclusively from your home office with occasional in-person meetings and training
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's Degree or four or more years of experience
Four or more years of relevant experience
Four or more years of experience managing technical network infrastructure programs and projects
Experience working effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver against critical deadlines
Experience working independently without direct supervision
Experience receiving high level direction and experience proactively moving a project or internal initiative from start to finish with minimal assistance.
Experience directing the work of others, without being their direct supervisor
Even better if you have one or more of the following
A degree
Experience within Cellular Technology, Radio Frequency, Regulatory and Construction
Experience with Smartsheets and Google docs.
Technical industry certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
Interest in emerging technologies such as IoT, SDN, NFV, etc
Industry project management certification such as PMP or CAPM
Strong experience in leading complex and concurrent endeavors
Ability to influence others and collaborate with various stakeholders
Excellent organizational & communication skills and be able to work with a sense of urgency

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000.00 and $200,000.00 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
