What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be the collaborative technologist leading the charge for AI integration within our Product & Marketing Organization. This role is designed for a transformation practitioner who is passionate about how AI reshapes team structures, decision rights, and execution models. You won’t just be talking about change; you’ll be partnering with senior strategists and squad leaders to design and implement the future-state operating models that make AI adoption sustainable. You’ll be the primary architect of "what’s next" for our internal workflows, ensuring our teams aren't just using AI, but are transformed by it.
Directing AI Implementation: Monitoring usage to continuously improve solution effectiveness, user experience, and overall ROI.
Building Automation Agents: Leading the development of AI agents to automate high-friction tasks like research, case triage, and compliance tracking.
Identifying High-Impact Use Cases: Collaborating across Product, Growth, and Retention functions to find where AI can move the needle.
Establishing Architecture: Reviewing complex processes for automation, maintaining our prompt library, and evolving tools based on user feedback.
Acting as a Technical Liaison: Triaging incoming AI requests to determine if the solution requires a quick build, a guided tutorial, or a platform-level escalation.
Designing Low-Code Solutions: Rapidly prototyping prompts and workflows, then iterating based on real-world user testing.
Coaching and Enablement: Leading hands-on working sessions to help teams build their own AI solutions with confidence.
Analyzing Trends: Identifying where teams are getting stuck and proactively delivering targeted support to drive behavioral change.
What we’re looking for...
You are a "Transformation Engineer" who balances strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of organizational design. You have a genuine curiosity about AI’s practical applications and a knack for navigating ambiguity. You aren't afraid to dive into the low-code weeds, but you also have the executive presence to engage with senior leaders. You thrive on helping others have "lightbulb moments" and believe that the best AI strategy is one that people actually use.
Where You'll Be Working... In this hybrid role, you must reside within a commuting distance to one of the work locations listed on this position, and your work will include work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience
Six or more years of experience in professional services, enterprise architecture, or a similarly complex corporate environment.
Two or more years of hands-on experience building with generative AI tools, including low-code AI agents, prompt engineering, and rapid prototyping.
Experience facilitating discovery conversations and translating business pain points into technical AI requirements.
Even better if you have one or more of the following...
Working proficiency with AI platforms such as Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Workspace Studio.
Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and enable non-technical teams to adopt complex tools.
Experience leading AI governance, strategy development, or building an AI COE.
Background in change management or technology enablement programs.
Familiarity with AI adoption analytics and using data to drive internal software usage.
Experience creating internal training content, communications, or thought leadership regarding AI topics.
Experience with vendor evaluation and pilot program design from a practitioner’s perspective.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
