    Responsibilities

    We are currently seeking an Account Manager, Data Center Specialist to develop and manage our Data Center segment business for TEKsystems. The Data Center Specialist will be responsible for business development and sales to Data Center owners and Management Companies, as well as Services providers within the Data Center space. This is a technical selling role focusing on developing a loyal customer base in the Data Center and Technology markets. TEKsystems provides great benefits and a flexible work environment.

    The EDM expansion service will support all aspects of Information Communication Technology, Critical Facilities, and Asset Management. This includes; monitoring, break fix, and sustainability of the datacenter infrastructure for our customers.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to capture market share within assigned industry segments
    • Develop and maintain a sales opportunity pipeline sufficient to capture annual top line growth target
    • Develop and maintain market awareness and trends within the industry; generating a robust sales funnel
    • Work cooperatively with team members to achieve success across regional boundaries
    • Define sales potential; prepare budgets; maintain sales tracking and other administrative reporting required by management
    • Drive sustainable sales growth and engineering specifications by building relationships with key industry decision makers
    • Map and profile key accounts for designated territory
    • Create detailed action plans at an account level to determine best approach based on application, industry knowledge, buying influences, key differentiators, etc.
    • Develop and implement a detailed action sales plan identifying: sales objectives, potential opportunities, key existing and target customers, strategies, and issues
    • Work cooperatively with peers and other internal departments, keeping key individuals informed to assure positive customer relations are maintained
    • Attend sales, trade, and product learning meetings as required
    • Maintain awareness of TEKsystems’s internal policy and the TEKsystems Core Values regarding the daily work

  • Qualifications

    Educational & Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
    • 3 years of experience in B2B sales; technical and/or project sales preferred
    • Knowledgeable and proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Adhere to the principles of Value Added Selling and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Strategies
    • Skilled communicator (verbal and written)
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Goal-driven
    • Team-oriented
    • Customer-focused
    • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
