    Job description:

We help our Auto OEM customers understand how our platform, network, and IoT (Internet of Things) solutions will help their businesses work better, faster, and be more secure — and help to deliver on the promise of the connected vehicle ecosystem. This is where you come in. In this position, you will play a key role in the development, implementation and management of new connected vehicle solutions for our OEM and connected vehicle customer programs. You will assist with new business development but will have the strategic responsibility of managing our connected vehicle OEM relationships.

You will work with established connected vehicle customers to manage and enhance our current business, drive deeper and broader relationships as well as identify and help to close new connected vehicle opportunities. Our team’s role is to deliver best-in-class service and support, build a strong ecosystem to enhance our customer’s connected vehicle programs as well as to help position Verizon as the market leader in the connected vehicle industry. Working with internal teams including but not limited to Network, ODI/Certification teams, Solution Architects, Product, Legal, Support (BGCO, NRB, WEHD, etc), Finance, Offer Development and IT. In this role, you will be expected to anticipate critical gaps and future needs and make the right business and technology connections to offer the best integrated solutions. Ultimately, you will build innovative ways for people and businesses to utilize Verizon’s technology and solutions to enable the connected vehicle ecosystem. Your role will require:

    • Understanding and supporting the Auto OEM connected vehicle lifecycle

    • Supporting the Auto OEM connected vehicle program needs leveraging Verizon’s subject matter experts in: Network, ODI/Certification, Solution Architects, Product, Legal, Support (BGCO, NRB, WEHD, etc), Finance, Offer Development and IT

    • Identifying, developing and implementing new business opportunities, solutions, and go-to-market strategies to address market needs and drive business results.

    • Assist with the technical sale processes as well as manage the delivery and ongoing support of complex connected vehicle solutions

    • Develop strategic relationships with business partners to help build out our offerings and drive growth.

    • Maintaining internal and external partner alignment and crafting commonalities to help deliver platform and service integration solutions.

    • Planning and forecasting, preparing budgets, identifying metrics, and evaluating account-level performance.

You give “Solution Management” a whole new meaning. Market trends, lead generation, critical thinking, analytical attitude, technical savvy, customer presentations—you do it all with poise, confidence, and style. You bring the widest perspective to issues and think of aspects that others have missed. Revenue goals and business outcomes motivate you, but you’re also attuned to building close relationships with others — a combination that earns you respect and trust alike. A thirst for knowledge means that you’re a constant learner, and keeping up with everything in the connected vehicle world is no problem. You envision the large and complex, but make it easy for others to understand.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or related field or four or more years of work experience.

    • Six or more years of relevant work experience (Connected Solutions, IoT, Auto OEM, Manufacturing or similar).

    • Experience selling and managing large, complex engagements and projects with multiple partners. Ideally, including c-suite.

    • Experience marketing or selling complex technical solutions.

    • Experience forging partner relationships and agreements.

    • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.

    Even better if you have:

    • Experience with wireless industry, IoT solutions, M2M technology and OS platforms.

    • Deep knowledge of Auto OEM business models

    • Experience with the connected vehicle ecosystem

    • Executive presence and influence skills.
