The University Relations team is looking for an Intern to join our Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) team part of the Portfolio Planning and Measurements team within Hospital and Health Systems (HHS).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The initial focus of this role is to support of Agile best practices across the Hospital and Health Systems (HHS) Software Development Organization and Solution Development Organization.  This role will be a member of the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) with the mission of supporting LACE members on 2021 objectives.  The successful candidate will have interest in process improvement, be comfortable working with a fair degree of autonomy, and be willing to learn Scaling Agile Framework (Essential SAFe, DevOps, Lean Portfolio Management). This individual must possess exemplar organizational abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. 

Depending on business need, intern responsibility may include:

• Supporting the creation and delivery of new Standards of Practice (SoPs)
• Aggregating and updating metric data for Value Stream Mapping, CoPs, and the Agile Improvement Dashboard
• Development of self-service training artifacts for SAFe topics
• Scheduling of SAFe training needs across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Exemplar Organizational Abilities, Motivated and Flexible, Team Player
• Interest in Agile

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program for Management Information Systems, Business, or related discipline
• 3.0+ GPA preferred

Experience:

• Knowledge of any Agile methodologies, tools & techniques preferred
• Demonstrable skills of communications, planning and organization
• Strong ability to collaborate to define business process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results
