OVERVIEW:

PROMOTES THE WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY CORE VALUES AND CORPORATE GOALS

PRODUCT DATA MANAGEMENT:

• Executes the product data responsibilities of a program or multiple programs, using PLM tools and processes, to meet corporate and customer statement of work objectives.

• Analyzes and governs data compliance, new product introduction and/or configuration management activities.

• Services internal and external customer requests, providing proactive solutions/mitigation action plans.

• Ensures valid product data/information has been captured.

DELIVERS OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE THROUGH:

• Drives execution to KPI's designated for program and customer measurements.

• Engages with cross functional teams though continuous improvement initiatives in current and future business opportunities.

• Evaluates complex process structures and rules to propose change.

PROVIDES INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COLLABORATION:

• Coordinates and builds ongoing collaborative relationship with inside sales, customers, program management, legal and compliance, and quality on local and global scale.

• Enables collaborative activities through our operations, sales and program management organizations to scale and standardize operational efficiencies.

• Requires a high-level of customer focus/customer alignment and change management.

• Requires a fast-paced, high-energy, motivated individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities of this job consist of managing resources, governance on inventory levels and customer escalations for the planning organization, including:

• Analytical & Transactional work to support Product Data Management Functions

• Item and Attribute Creation and Maintenance

• Bill of Material Creation and Maintenance

• Product Routing Creation and Maintenance

• Drives Governance of Product Information and attributes

• Analyze and evaluate complex product structures and rules to process engineering change requests

• Enables Product Data Management policies and processes through Standards and Governance

• Delivers to KPI Targets

• Executes to established Goals, Objectives and Initiatives

Skills necessary to be successful in this role include:

• Foundational: Product Data Management, Manufacturing

• Intermediate: Data Governance, Compliance, Product Structures, Data Analysis, Job Specific Software: Microsoft Office Suite, ERP (Oracle Preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• College degree (or equivalent experience) with a moderate amount of progressive experience in field of expertise, or advanced degree with limited experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Requires 1-2 years of prior experience in data management.
• Proven track record of delivering results through process development and governance oversight.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of technical subject matter of hardware, software, and services contracts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate through all levels of organization.
• Experience working in multiple manufacturing environments. Brings ideas, industry principles and fully understands engineering and change management.
