Get ready to roll up your sleeves and be immersed in the fast-paced, ever-changing, incredibly fun world of advertising! During this 10-week, full-time, paid, hands-on internship program, you will gain an understanding of the advertising industry and technology marketing, work collaboratively in teams to solve business challenges, contribute to marketing campaigns, and truly be valued as a junior member of your team.

You already have a good portfolio, are a great visual storyteller, as well as have solid design skills, and an eagerness to learn. You’re happy to jump in and work on multiple projects at once, often under tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. You’ll assist art directors on creative needs, big or small, from developing campaign concepts to executing campaign content. You’ll work alongside some of Austin’s top creative talent and learn and grow with us.

**Specific tasks may include: **

• Concept, create and define concepts based on brand values and client briefs with potential to produce finished work
• Assist in building presentations and finalizing marketing deliverables
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
• Work on a group project with your fellow interns to present to the agency/business team at the end of your term

**Skills: **

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work conceptually and strategically
• Ability to assist art directors with their projects as well as manage your own, from concept to implementation
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, and clients
• Eager to help with projects of any size
• Self-starter who takes direction well
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

**Requirements: **

• Tremendous sense of craft
• Relevant art direction experience and training
• A very strong digital portfolio is required for consideration
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Advertising or related discipline  
• Graduation Date:  December 2023 or Spring 2024 (prior to July)
