    Position summary:

    Responsible for writing clear, compelling content for Ingram Micro's digital marketing materials, particularly social media advertising and landing pages. Work closely with Ingram Micro's team, including digital content strategists, content managers, digital designers, art directors and digital producers to determine messaging and conceptual direction. Produce content that meets the agreed-upon tone, style and established deadlines. Be adept at conversion-based copywriting and comfortable with technology-related topics.

    What you'll do:

    • Collaborate with Ingram Micro team in quick concept development.
    • Create engaging, conversion-oriented content.
    • Write and edit standard, video, lead and conversational ads for various social media networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
    • Write and edit landing page copy that's optimized for SEO.
    • Demonstrate familiarity with digital marketing best practices, such as use of CTAs and hashtags, and apply them effectively.
    • Optimize content (language, tone, message) based on the behavior of varied target audiences.
    • Incorporate feedback from multiple team members and stakeholders.
    • With input from Ingram Micro's copy editor, deliver grammatically correct content that complies with Ingram Micro and AP style.
    • Conduct research and interviews as necessary to produce desired objectives.
    • Meet all deadlines.

    What you bring to the role:

    Established and productive professional individual contributor. Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult and may be complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. Works on moderate to complex projects. Uses company standard policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Receives moderate level of guidance. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy. General proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues. A four year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1 year position specific experience.
