    Why should you join the Integration Technology Center team?

    WWT's Integration Technology Center teams work in a climate-controlled production environment with advanced networking, secure remote access, and certified procedures specifically designed for staging, kitting and configuring the latest advanced technology solutions. The team consists of certified engineers with logistical and technical expertise to help reduce the risk, cost and complexity of IT deployments.

    A Brief Overview

    Work closely with the project engineer and to evaluate project requirements and documentation to drive for successful execution of customer expectations. Perform daily supportive tasks to execute and quality check all requirements to deliver world class supply chain solutions.

    Essential Functions

    • Assist in the execution of technology solutions per specifications and/or configuration instructions utilizing both industries and WWT best practices.
    • Configuration of multiple vendor networking, wireless & collaboration devices.
    • Assist in the creation and optimization of work instructions and further documentation.
    • Assist in basic level troubleshooting process for defective devices, logical issues, or systematic errors on a wide range of technologies
    • Provide input for installation and configuration instructions with various platforms of hardware and ensures accurate information capture
    • Ensures compliance with established codes, regulations, and standards
    • Perform logical work to load OS (Operating system), loading license, and update firmware per customer requirements.
    • Configuration of core network storage, server technologies or general telecommunication product where applicable.
    • Help drive project's progress, from kick-off to final approval.
    • Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot equipment to confirm system/hardware is functional on a wide range of technologies.
    • Help in design, development and model/prototype creation
    • Provide and validate initial label template requirements per Customer specifications or WWT best practices
    • Ensure quality records are maintained for both internal and external customers to validate requirements and equipment audits
    • Understanding of installation and configuration instructions with various platforms of hardware and ensures accurate information capture.
    • Provide input for the continual improvement of Customer production solutions

    Qualifications

    • High school/GED required. Associate degree in information technology or related field preferred.
    • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • 2+ years’ experience in troubleshooting network technologies, including but not limited to routers, switches, and servers.
    • CCNA or CCNT or related certifications strongly preferred.
    • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

    • Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards.
    • Identifies documentation needs and develops technical reference documentation in accordance with standards and styles.
    • Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
    • Serves in a "player coach" role by managing, reviewing and conducting the day-to-day work in a specific technical domain area; applies domain knowledge to develop solutions to problems.
    • Leverages technical knowledge of products to meet customer needs and understands market segments as well as market data trends.
    • Demonstrates a concern for accuracy and thoroughness so that sufficiently detailed information is logged correctly.
    • Ability to take instruction and independently execute on the directives.
    • Ability to read engineering drawings (network designs documents, rack elevations)
    • Knowledge of a broad range of network infrastructure cable types and best practices.
    • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.

    Compensation/ Benefits

    Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $23.08-$28.85 an hour. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
