Leidos has openings for talented SOFTWARE ENGINEERS to come work in our facility in Peachtree Corners, GA. In this role, you will join a dynamic team that is singularly focused on providing world class solutions to our customers in an exciting, collaborative, and inclusive environment. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform software analysis, design, development, and testing of work items that are limited in scope and complexity
• Determine software specifications and refine work items to meet customer requirements
• Participate in code reviews and peer programming with other team members to ensure quality and promote upskilling
• Use Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git to manage work and collaborate with your teams.
• Identify potential roadblocks and develop around them.
• Plan and estimate development tasks and work to improve performance metrics.
• Develop maintainable code that matches specification.
• Own delivery of small parts of a system or application.

Basic Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of Java and/or C#
• Knowledge or exposure to front end languages and frameworks such as Javascript, JQuery, React, Angular.
• Basic knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMs).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with prototype development.
• Hands-on experience with automating data cleansing, formatting, staging, and transforming data.
• Hands-on experience applying data analytics.
• Exposure to continuous delivery concepts.
• Exposure to virtualization or containerization concepts.
• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts like PKI and encryption.
• Exposure to unit testing.

Pay Range $44,200.00 - $68,000.00 - $91,800.00
