As an Associate Solutions Developer performing support duties, you will use your technical and IT knowledge to modify and enhance existing solutions as well as drive process improvements. You will be responsible for researching and identifying problematic code, data, etc. that may be impacting delivery, developing, and carrying out a fix and ensuring processes are running to expectation. Special project work will provide opportunity to gather client requirements, design, code, create detailed design documentation and assist in system testing. You will collaborate with other teams within Acxiom to improve networking or IT issues, application/database performance, product feedback, all while providing support to the client team for questions, analysis, and research needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Understands business requirements to build, enhance, or integrate programs and processes for a specific Acxiom Client solution / application. Interprets high level application design and functional specifications to write application code. Advises on the best application approach.

• Effectively researches, identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex technical/coding issues.

• Leads and participates in code review sessions, providing code assessment.

• Effectively manages work via frequent and thorough case updates on status and resolution.

• Responds to client/stakeholder problems in a timely manner, prioritizing multiple issue response based on the severity of the case.

• Provides consultative feedback regarding solution design, enhancement ideas and/or current issue resolution to internal and/or external clients.

• Modifies databases according to requests and perform tests; solves database performance issues; ensures all database programs meet performance requirements.

• Networks with various teams within Acxiom for escalation and requirement purposes.

• Using relevant software languages, develops/executes unit test cases and tests software applications and code that fulfills functional specifications and ensuring expected results.

• In addition to daily case work, balances multiple small projects and begins to work on larger projects with guidance from more experienced developers to meet due dates and deadlines.

• Proactively recognizes and communicates areas for innovation and/or improvement. Takes the lead and initiative to identify shortcomings, develops a plan to fix or enhance and see it through to promotion of production.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical field, or equivalent work experience

• Experience with SQL, Perl, Oracle, Linux/Unix Commands, Linux/Unix File Management

• Superb communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and present effectively to members of the development or project

• Demonstrate multi-tasking capability

• AdTech skills: client-centric, experimental, creative, and data-driven mindset.

• Experience in supporting API’s

• Ability to onboard in an accelerated fashion
