As a B2B industry leader, Verizon is at the center of developing new technologies for its business customers. It is an exciting time to be at Verizon—and our team is currently looking for an experienced Marketing Manager on the B2B CMO marketing team to manage creative projects, work with Integrated Marketing, and ensure excellence in executing marketing campaigns for our teams.

• Managing a full range of projects for B2B content marketing, including complex business and government solutions content, personalized plan, pricing, and promo sales content, long form thought leadership content, and various types of explainer, case study, and tutorial videos

• Creating creative marketing strategy briefs and project plans—and determining which creative teams will be assigned the work to execute.

• Working with other Marketing Managers across channels to track and manage project timelines, deliverables and fulfillment.

• Managing and communicating feedback to our internal resources and our advertising Agencies.

• Responsible for ensuring all work is on brief and follows required legal reviews, product reviews and approvals.

• Identifying and troubleshooting project challenges and come with possible solutions.

• Providing creative presentations with PowerPoint support for stakeholders and leadership.

• Managing and organizing work—maintaining timelines and alignment with Integrated marketing.

• Staying up-to-date on the latest tech trends and our competition.

• Identifying areas of improvement in process and project management.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years work experience in marketing or advertising.

Even better if you have:

• Experience managing large-scale projects within an Advertising Agency or corporate marketing department.

• Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment—with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work with minimal supervision.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

This position will be based in NYC, but will require the ability to attend team meetings as needed in Basking Ridge NJ from time to time.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

If you are hired into a Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York work location, the compensation range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $212,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
