Acxiom is seeking a motivated and flexible team player to join our Billing Team. Must be able to thrive as an individual and team contributor. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and open to coaching and development feedback.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete full cycle billing including analyzing data submitted to ensure accuracy and validity prior to creating the customer invoice.
Analyze and understand contractual agreements as they pertain to customer billing requirements
Verify proof of agreement, proof of delivery, pricing, and other supporting documentation
Generate customer invoices within policy timelines and guidelines
Submit corrections and/or updates to invoices and billing schedules in a timely manner
Understand priorities and organize workflow as needed
Monitor assigned customer accounts and reply to customer inquiries within 24-hours
Assist teammates as needed to manage workflow and ensure team success
Work closely with AR and communicate any changes that may impact expected payment amount(s)
Understand, document and test operating procedures and perform updates as needed
Recommend process and/or system improvements
Work with team to test new or changed system functionality
Assist with team mailbox as needed
Consistently meet processing deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of billing experience
Functional understanding of business and accounting concepts
Ability to learn and apply knowledge to different aspects of the role
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be self-accountable, motivated, and professional
Must be flexible and adjust priorities as needed
Must possess a great attitude and commitment to personal and team success
Curiosity and ability to learn, share and apply knowledge
Accepting of change
Ability to understand the ‘big picture’ view of Acxiom and adjust work style accordingly

Ariba and other 3rd-party billing systems
Advanced knowledge of accounting and controls
