Your Role and Responsibilities

This job entails performing a wide range of functions in support of IBM Quantum Business Development. Specifically the successful candidate would provide a central function for assisting in strategy development, organizing business development projects led by business development personnel, recording key actions and action planning, setting-up client and internal meetings, performing market and financial analyses for the Business Development team, assist Business Development Executives (BDE) in deal progression through contracting and legal review phases (with BDE’s and the Sales team), produce PowerPoints, generate marketing materials and all documentation necessary for business development, and perform professional editing and clean-up on various white papers and proposals.

Excellent writing and communication skills are necessary, as well as a data analysis and financial background for producing market analyses, strategic analyses, business case and business models for new engagements and supporting proposal development. Producing professional slides and pitch decks, as well as organizing many meetings for webinars, internal reviews, and for client interaction is a necessary part of the job.

The position will report to the VP of Quantum Growth and Markets, and work across all BDE’s. Location: in the Yorktown Heights, NY area is preferred (35 miles north of NYC).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strategy Development and Business Case Analysis

• Excellent organizational skills

• Knowledge of Project Management and CRM tools

• Business Development experience and knowledge of how Business Development Teams function

• Four-year degree (preferably in a STEM field)

• Meeting, Webinar and Workshop Planning Experience

• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel Skills

• Data Analysis, Finance or MBA a plus
