The Xerox College Experiential Learning Program (XCEL) is designed to provide college students with practical work experience in their field of study, as well as prepare them for the professional world of work. Overall, the XCEL program provides a benefit to both Xerox and the students. Pursuing a BS or MS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.25
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language
Being able to work in teams towards a shared goal
Ability to change direction quickly based on data analysis
Proactively seeking clarification of requirements and direction; take responsibility when needed
Extracting data from multiple sources including sales, inventory, product, and customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
Working with several large and complex Oracle databases
Help team evaluate big data platform technology & infrastructure
Install and manage various tools & tech stack that is required for the Big Data Team
Experience with PL/SQL or equivalent preferred
Experience with self-serve business intelligence tools (Tableau, InfoAssist, Alteryx, Yellowfin) preferred
