    CTG IS ASSISTING A CLIENT IN ST. LOUIS, MO IN STAFFING A DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT (DAM) LIBRARIAN FOR A CONTRACT ROLE.

     

    LOCATION: REMOTE

    JOB TITLE: DAM LIBRARIAN

    DURATION: 12 MONTHS WITH HIGH POTENTIAL FOR EXTENSION

    PAY: UP TO $60/HR, SORRY NO VACATION OR HOLIDAY PAY

    JOB TYPE: HOURLY CONSULTANT

    MUST BE ABLE TO WORK CST HOURS-M-F 8 AM TO 5PM

     

    Main purpose: Oversee day-to-day management of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool for the Client marketing team. Manage/ingest of assets during initial migration from legacy DAM/servers to new DAM and continue to manage/ingest of assets once initial migration is complete. Bring existing assets up to industry standards, including continuous evaluation and iteration of file directories and metadata. Ensure users conform to metadata tagging requirements in new DAM system as well as folder tree structures. The primary responsibilities of this role, Digital Asset Management Librarian, are to: Work across internal and external teams to shepherd branded marketing content ingestion into DAM. Review new assets that are uploaded by users, including internal content creators and external agency partners, and ensure assets are ready for consumption. This includes overall naming convention, metadata tagging, formatting, etc. Serve as day-to-day point person for internal and external DAM user questions and usage guidance Work with Portfolio Content Operations Sr. Manager to establish best metadata practices Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to define and continuously evolve taxonomy and metadata requirements, naming conventions and maintain accuracy of assets Archive expired assets Conduct regular asset audits to ensure assets are current and categorization is accurate WHO YOU ARE Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, the client seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or commensurate experience;

    · At least 3-5 years of professional level experience working directly in a DAM system

    · Demonstrated familiarity with taxonomy and metadata standards

    · Strong organizational and time management skills

    · Ability to work proactively and autonomously

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · MS Office Suite

    · Adobe Asset Manager experience a plus

    · Experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Marketing Communications related field

    · Experience with working within a large organization

    · Experience with wide range of digital file formats and digital reformatting practices

    · Experience working with internal and external teams

    · Ability quickly adapt to and work in a high paced environment
